Thoroughbred Sunday this weekend, anyone going? There should be plenty of old bikes there and thousands of old cars which are a lot more interesting than a load of boring 200mph supercars.

Well I went up there this morning, raining all the way there and pissing down on the way back home. Loads of supercars there, Veyron's, V12 E-Types, Aston's, McLaren's, Mercs, Ferrari's, Lambo's, Pagani's, Zonda's, Morgan's, 3 or 4 S&S engine 3 wheelers, some massive American cars that I think were Chevies, Hemi's?? Chrysler's, stuff that I didn't have a clue what it was and the best car in my opinion a 6 litre Hillman that looked like an Imp but it wasn't because the engine was in the front. As for bikes there were 2 in the show, a 250 Virago and a Suzuki V-Strom  laughing1. There were only about 30 bikes there so they let us park on the race track next to the supercars. Didn't bother with pictures cos there wasn't any decent bikes there, apart from a smart "racer on the road" Buell.

Had a bimble down to Goodwood for the breakfast run and took some photos. There was about a mile and a half of the race track lined both sides with Ferrari's, Lambo's, Astons, Bentleys etc, etc, etc, as well as a large show area with cars on display in their own little garages. Hundreds and hundreds of every exotic sports car imaginable but only 2 bikes, a Ducati pani-wotsit and one of them Honda CB1000R streetfighter, the same as what someone on this forum has just bought.

I only took one photo of the cars because they mean nothing to me but as this McLaren had 3 body guards around it and it had trade plates on I thought it must be something special, looks just like any other car to me.

The carpark,

Some of the bikes in the car park.

I liked this one, Suzuki GSXR engine, spoked wheels, USD forks etc. very smart.

And this one,

I wonder how the body guards got there.
