Tried me newly delivered lid on. It's super, bit ghey, but a proper bargain. Spose I'd better get using it.

Are the levadas those water channels that irrigate everything?

No, they're Italian bikes. 500 Montjuic and 1200 Jota  spok1z

Went out with the missus on the AT, plan was tea and cake at the cafe at Cotswold airport. Got there and it was shut, so carried on into Cirencester and had a munch at the cafe at the Waitrose there.

Pretty cold, but also a really cold, strong gusty wind, had to leave a load of extra room for overtakes as we were getting blown all over the place.

....ah reckon ahm one lucky dude tae live where ah live, mainly cos ah have direct access tae some o the best riding this country has go tae offer.

Got oot the day for a good hurl as the sun was shining and the snaw has mostly buggered off at last.

Nice winters day rasp indeed, Ricoland tae HUntly, Rhynie, Strathdon, ower the Lecht, stopped off at Tomintoul for a brew then Dufftown, hang a right tae head ower the Cabrach road ending up at Rhynie again for a wee zig zag o back roads tae hame.......jist grand indeed.

Never saw another bike oot awe day.

"Lost" again .....

War memorial at Bellabeg / Lost road junction. Bellabeg is were the Lonach Gathering is held every year. This is a sort of Highland Games but involves the Lairds "private" army o the Lonach Highlanders, wi lots of bagpipes, claymores, spears n pikes and of course whisky involved !

Corgarff Castle - it must have been affy rough and cauld bein an English sodjer posted here in an 18th Century winter....thats the castle in the middle o nowhere up on the hill
https://www.visitscotland.com/info/see-do/corgarff-castle-p248721

and on every Fud road is a Cock Bridge...this is the section of road that is closed the most often in the UK at winter time.

The Lecht hill climb halfway up.  Was blawin a hooley up here.

A view o the ski centre most bikers never see as its kind of shut in summer....carparks were rammed today.

So all in all a very nice day oot n aboot  tuono; happy88
