Totally agree Ali, modern bikes are indeed a better ride because of the modern lecky sussies n stuff. My T handles well enough but nothing like as good and stable compared tae the ride on the KTM. Therefore as a rider ahm mair relaxed so can focus more on whats coming rather than the bike bouncin below. Its called progress ah guess.

Still keepin the Tuono on the road tho, its just so much fun and memories.

Good that you've gelled with your Duc after your issues with the SD A  happy88. Not good spending a lot of dosh on a bike you can't get on with.

Have to agree with you guys. I reckon I am a better rider on my KTM than on the T

The extra control when pushing on breeds more confidence. Plus the riding position is second to none

Love riding the T though extremely blessed to have both.

Got to get the 790 run in by Friday when the first service is booked. After a day working in the garden dodging the showers I went for a rip down to Glastonbury and back.

Horses fir courses V,,,,,,,I now know that the sdr I had wasn't that far off the norm for that machine. Imo the handling of a Factory T is and always will be streets ahead of the sdr's unless you're willing to spend 2/3k notes on alternate sussers and possibly even more.

Your impression is correct A  big grin1. Most fun bike I’ve had in a long time. It’s a reminder that you don’t necessarily need big power to have a blast, 100bhp and light weight is ace  happy88.  Good to have the 1290 to scare myself as well!
