Not quite MM,,,,,,,,it's a ZG1300 AI.

The first version of of the Z13 with fuel injection,,,,,,,,1984 and had self cancelling indicators, cruise control, oil level sensor, air balanced forks and shocks etc etc.

It is a truly complex piece of machinery, and as ugly as sin.

Rides like it's hinged in the middle but it's special to me.   happy119   love8

When there's a fault in the system the ECU or whitever they called it flashes morse code signals by way of a wee green light inbuilt in the control unit (ECU).

You then consult the manual to decipher the morse codes.

How fukkin brilliant and involving is that,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,a love that ugly fukker.   happy119

I had an 85 GPZ750 Turbo and that had a similar flashy lights from the ECU arrangement for faults too if I remember right.

exc1. Just got back from a 2 hour ride. Said fuck it and left work early. 81 degrees and sunny. The Hyper is a really fun bike. No good at just cruisin around, she wants to go. Exactly 210 miles round trip. Feeling better than I have in 10 months.

Riding is good fer your soul.

Went to Knott End yesterday. (it faces Fleetwood from the north). Bikes tend to gather at the caff next to the ferry on a Wednesday evening, though it beats me why. Had Fish & Chips round the corner, even the chippy was rammed.
Plenty of flies on the visor for the ride.

Crashed out hard yesterday afternoon.
Hit a pothole on a bend, lost it....into ditch
Really good riding buddy following did exactly the same....missed ditch, hit farm gate
He's still in hospital awaiting surgery.
I'm at home battered and bruised as fuck.
Bike is fixable I think, his gixer is bolloxed.
Leathers are even more fucked.
Dave had his cut off on the roadside by paramedics.
Ambulance couldn't find us...took 90mins.
Cops were great.

Take care out there people.

Well....very nearly a year on.
Council have admitted liability.
Have been instructed to visit Consultant Physiotherapist to check for any lasting damage to self.
Also, provide a list of my losses...
Hornet tail section
ASV levers
Alternator cover
New Shoei
New leathers
New gloves
New boots
New missus...wait what?

Nice to have things moving forward finally.
