I must admit I did wesh the bike and oil the chain. Dead insects will be weshed off when necessary, maybe one a fortnight and it will get a thorough deep clean the day before I sell it (never).
If the weathers good enough for cleaning I'll be out riding!

Removed me dead stator........ ffs........ grrrrrr !

This one was a Ricks Stator...... did 12k..... suppose its a tad better mileage than a rear tyre   smile2

Chuffin prices have gone up too..... Paid £88 for that & they are now £150, still a dam site cheaper than an Ape one tho.

Desicion time...... throw another Stator at it or go the hole hog and get the lower watt Rotor too..... and re mortgage the house...

Anyone got a Rotor off a Late 08 / 09 onwards they would like to part with ??

Yeah.... stator is a quick fix..... but it will go again..
Ricks stator was the mark 2
... thicker wires.... "only" pushed out 60v per pair.... 12k on it bit the dust...

Head says stator ...

 Heart says rotor too...

I went out on the RC30 this morning. There were some damp patches in the shade on the way to Winchester that were as slippery as fuck, I think that's the first rain in a month, still hasn't rained where I live.
