Stuck one of them MRA Vario screens on the Tiger to try and reduce the buffeting/wind noise. Not been out on it yet to see if it works though.

It makes you wonder whether the designers even bother to road test before production doesn't it?
On the Transalp the aftermarket screen it came with was so noisy & buffeting that I thought bollocks to this and cut a good 2" off the top of it and it improved it no end, though could still be improved.

I think it’s often down to luck and how well the bike fits you. Loads of Africa Twin owners moan about the screen being crap, and spend loads on aftermarket ones to try and find the holy grail. Whereas it’s spot on for me, best wind protection I’ve ever had on a bike, I can sit at 110 on the Mway and it’s like being sat in my armchair at home. (Slight exaggeration obviously).

That's one tall arm chair! big grin1

Luckily I've bought a 2nd hand one so not had to spend too much in the quest for less turbulence.

Nearly fitted new swanky grips, barend mirrors and new levers.

Need to press the bushings out the original levers,,,,,,,,,,,,they won't budge,,,,,,,,,,job fir ma workshop.   frown1

Barend mirrors won't fit,,,,,,,,,need the inserts reduced in diameter,,,,,,,,,,,,,spent one hour in ma workshop whittling them down and can't fit them until the new grips are on.   frown1

Wont fit the new grips cause it's fookin baltic and the glue will probably fukk up, then I wont be able to re glue them cause I can't get the barends oot.   frown1

Today wiz a nearly day, maybe tomorrow will be better.   happy119

Presumably not the standard Ducati hard luggage?
