Need to work out how to get the engine management light to go off next!

There are 2 ways:
1) Take the bulb out
2) Put a sticker over it.

Getting the ECU "tuned" by Hilltop Motorcycles on Friday. They rewrite the software rather than reflash the ECU and will be able to address the engine management light issue.

Looks like it should be a nice day for a rip down to Hinckley and then see what the improvement is like on the way back. smile2

Let us know what you think of the remap. I’ve heard good things about Hilltop so thinking of getting the Beemer remapped there as i’m running decat headers and no baffles, also maybe the Honda as it runs quite lean like all bikes out of the factory nowadays.

Blokes on the KTM  forum rate them highly

Suppose you need a good reason to put the bike on a rolling road and pay out for it.

I've heard plenty of good things about them and reckon I should get some good gains from an engine which puts out considerably more power in its Speed Triple guise.

G they are supposed to be particularly adept with Beemers. I'll let you know what I think after Friday.

I believe they hide everything from being detected so that when the bikes ECU detects anyone elses dyno being connected it reverts to original setup (probably a bit like VW did when they were fiddling diesel emissions). So some punters might think they'd been fiddled when they get dyno'd elsewhere as will show as normal. When on Hilltops dyno it shows true readings.
I suppose you could say Hilltop might just be saying there's an improvement as they are the only ones who can provide a graph to show any changes but at the end of the day it's what the bike feels like when you're riding it that will be the best indication.

I'll find out soon.

I'll be interested in this, they're just up the road from me.
They rave about J33 for the MT 10.
