Good morning!
I’ve decided to put  Giamoto 20mm lowering rearsets and 25mm raised bars on my 2011 APRC.
The bars are on, but only just as I need new cables and a brake line and the originals appear to be waaaaay too short now, by three to four inches! Can this be possible? I cannot rotate the bars into a riding position at all and they are jammed forwards. They need to rotate back by easily 4 inches.
I’m not a gifted mechanic, so I need a little help. How easy is it to get the throttle cables off the demander/TPS, please and is this something I should try in my little cave here at Forsinard?
Living out here isnt ideal when things get a bit complicated, but I am muddling through with this.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Oh, and by the way, sorry for being absent in here. I dont mean to be unsociable.
Have a nice day!

Ric, you and Robbie would get on fine, it'd be a very sociable occasion if you got together.

Sorry can't help with your dilemma.

Greetings, O Scourge of the Rabbit.
Good to hear from you.
Is Robbie a terrible mechanic too, or is he also rather forumphobic?   πŸ’

Thanks!
I have been thinking about doing the cables this evening over two bottles of Malbec.
.... So I’ll pick up on the tips tomorrow. Have a great evening!

Good evening .....
New bars on and in position 28mm up and a bit back. My first impressions are good!
New and 50mm longer everything to order - Brake hose/throttle cables/clutch cable.
I wasnt really sure what  to expect from the new riding position and although I havent actually ridden it, now I am really looking forward to trying the bike out.
Whipping off the cables tomorrow.
Have a nice evening from Ric. πŸ§ πŸ’πŸ•‰
