Some common senses stuff I guess in that F min.  Pretty much lived off credit card plus Euros cash while away that 3 weeks just there.  Havent seen any crazy charges coming thru.

Wee Mo is hot to trot on this and is endlessly checking on her app the minute we paid stuff while we were away to check it had gone thru clean and to see what the GBP value was. Exchange rate wasnt too bad either.

Used Tescos MasterCard

Also always buy in local currency. They generally always ask you, or machine does, so press the EUR button every time.

....exception to that is the ferry. Was definitely cheaper buying grub and beers in GBP.

That’s interesting- I’ve always paid in sterling, i’ll have to bear that in mind.

Cash Passport pre loaded with €€'s
Use for fuel, and everywhere else they take plastic.
A wodge of € cash for everything else.
Usual split about 60% CashPassport & 40% €€€'s cash

Agree with £ vs € on ferry.
Always pay in GBP.
