To be honest I am surprised anyone has picked up a ticket. We were fairly careful in the places that were likely to attract the police.

We were all doing the same speed as each other and the traffic in front of us when we got flashed. I was behind Roy I think.
We were just coasting downhill on a big road, not in a built up area.
After I got flashed I looked at my speedo and it said 97.
Roy's ticket is for 93 in an 80KM zone (58 in a 50 MPH).
So any one of us might get a ticket.
If I don't get a letter I'm happy to split Roy's with him as it could just as easily been me.

Can anyone remember the name of the road or the places on it that we used on the way to Huesca. Loads of huge mountains and huge ornamental people with bows n arrers etc? Just before we got in to the Rioja region I think.

No, but I found the details of the road that we did up near the viewing platform on that short day.

I'd go to the Pyrenees again, but not to Andorra. Plenty of stuff nearer to Santander. All this is with hindsight of course.

I wasn't fazed by having not bringing a map, I wasn't the only one though, although it would've been handy for when the tech went belly up, I did have access to maps via the phone, but it wasn"t an issue for me, I enjoyed the trip and will look to do something next year.
