Hi folks,

I'm a little bit stuck with something. I've been looking at trying to work out why my z650 is not as "powerful" as I think it should be. So I've thought about changing the plugs/caps/HT leads. I'm okay with the plug ends (screw in)...however, I  cabn't seem to figure out how the HT leads come off/out of the coils. I tried unscrew a wee bit and pulling them....but they don't seem to be willing to come off.

Any ideas?
Cheers

They're usually moulded or bonded on Slo.
Don't think there's many that come apart at the coil end.
Before you start ragging them apart, have you had them checked over?
A good auto-electrical shop should be able to test them for a few quid.

Hi Tifa,
Now that I've looked a little bit more at replacements, I can see they all come with HT wires attached as you have said. Thanks.

FOR SALE: 1 (good decent....ie over 1 meter) meter of 7mm dia HT lead cable for sale.
PM for best price.
